A development application will soon be lodged for the Everard Park Care Community at 34 Norman Tce. It was previously known as LifeCare Park Rose Village but has recently been purchased by Opal HealthCare and renamed. The block runs from Norman Tce through to Ross Street.

A Code Amendment (rezoning) was sought for the site in 2020 to allow six storeys to be built on the site. The Member for Badcoe Jayne Stinson MP and the local community campaigned for a reduction to four storeys and were successful. No development application was lodged by the former owners at that time.
Ms Stinson will be meeting with Opal Healthcare’s development consultants on Tuesday 24 June. If you have questions you’d like asked on your behalf please provide them in the below form.
If you are an immediate neighbour to the site, you should have received communication from Opal.
At this stage, it is up to the council to decide if further community consultation will be required as part of the development application process.
